Final Sculpture

Here is a Photo i have taken of my final sculpture hanging, whilst playing around with the lighting. I really like the shadow i got with this photo i thin it looks really good. I then took it in to photoshop and just changed the tone and contrast to bring the shadow and lighting out a bit more.
I am really please with how it is looking and unsure if i want to use this for my final poster now.

Final Posters

Here are my 2 final ideas for posters for GF Smith paper. I am unsure which one i am off to use for my final poster. I am leaning towards the bottom poster the one which shows the shadow behind it, As i feel it has a bit more to give than the top one which is just a plain front few of the poster.

The picutres them selfs are photo's which i have taken of my edited poster idea, played around with lighting and then in photoshop i have played around with the curves, contrast and tone to give me different effects which i feel brings out the poster.

Posters

Here are my new posters, i went back to my old poster design and edited it so it had the pattern which i had been working with from workshop 2 on it, so that it fitted the brief. I think the cut outs from the corner work really well and give a new depth to the poster.

I am now off to take it into photoshop and play around with the contrast and tone of the photo to get the best result i can for a poster.

Editing posters

Here are some photos of my idea for a poster which i have quickly taken in to photoshop and edited the colour, tone and contrast quickly.

I am really liking the effects which i am getting with these photo's.
However i have decided to back to my poster and cut out a design which i have been working with in task one so that the 2 relate.

I found these 2 images via www.ffffound.com i find them very interesting and i think they go very well with the type of work that i have been creating using geometric shape patterns

I repeat this DO NOT, DO NOT pretend your a drummer in a punk band whilst in hold of a cutting knife =[ it hurts

Rob Ryan

I love Rob Ryan's Paper cuts they are so beautiful and well just amazing in my eyes. Even tho i have not yet tried any real work like Rob Ryan's his work are inspired me a lot. I am thinking i might try and come up with a few ideas of work like this for my poster.
